Visual Narratives is a perspective that visuals are key to story narration in the modern-day cinema sphere. It resonates with the believe that cinema is not meant to be merely watched but instead, cinema is to be consumed. Watching stops at sight but consuming takes it a step further than merely entertaining oneself. Visual narratives encourage consumption by steering attention to creating conversation about cinema and by dissecting different aspects of cinema ranging on a wide spectrum from story plot to technicalities of shooting the movie. Visual narratives is ultimately an effort to showcase that beyond the creation of a world, scene and story - a movie possess discussion points in lesser discussed areas like for instance, it's themes and detailing. This effort is channelled to push and drive more conversations about Malaysian Tamil cinema.

Founder of production house, BP Entertainment. For the past 7 years, Mathubalan has been analysing the local industry and finds that there is much room for improvement. Using only his Twitter account, he discusses opinion about these movies and has received good feedback.
As a filmmaker, his ambition is to create a good movie. But how do we know when it’s a good movie, when the current feedback loop is tainted with personal interest? For more young talent to find interest in this industry, we need to create a conducive environment and healthy competition and that’s why he is investing his time to build Visual Narratives.

Owner of YouTube channels, Taneshh and TaneshhVlogs and also co-founder of BP Entertainment.
With a deep desire to make his own feature films sooner rather than later, Tanesh knows he faces an uphill task in doing so due to the current condition of the Malaysian movie industry both in quality of the products and also perception of the audience & target market. Visual Narratives, is his joint-attempt to tackle this issue to hopefully trigger more interest in Malaysian film audience which of course, is a product of increased conversation and discussion about Malaysian movies and attempts at improving them.
